Why audiences love hearing the Zoffany Ensemble...

Manon’s talent for creating interesting programmes that combine popular pieces with lesser-known works that are nonetheless crowd-pleasing, has enabled the ensemble to be received with standing ovations and critical acclaim.

The ensemble has also received enthusiastic reviews and support from some of the industry’s leading influencers, including radio presenter Catherine Bott and The Strad, whose Tim Homfray wrote 'there was a happy sweep to the first movement and great lyricism in the following Adagio, with fine playing from violinist Manon Derome and cellist Anthony Pleeth... it had the feeling of music-making among friends…the high-spirited finish had the audience cheering.'

After one of their Brighton Festival concerts at the Chapel Royal, Simon Jenner wrote '… The Zoffanys are sovereign performers, and this stands with the best chamber concerts I’ve heard at this venue. I’d have said the same hearing them at the Wigmore Hall'
